Project Details

Capella Sydney is a five star hotel situated in the former Department of Education building, located in Sydney’s Sandstone Precinct. Due to its heritage status, while completing the project, our team adhered to the strict conservation regulations, especially regarding structural alterations.

Turner Bros was engaged to deliver comprehensive window furnishing solutions across guestrooms and public spaces. This included the supply and installation of custom manual and motorised blockout and sheer drapery, sheer roman blinds, and motorised roller blinds.

With unusually high ceilings and a strict mandate for complete blockout in guestrooms, our team engineered tailored solutions that met both aesthetic and functional requirements. Working in close collaboration with Built, we developed non-invasive mounting systems that respected the building’s heritage constraints, ensuring full compliance with conservation regulations.
